Welcome to the WSGA Senior and Super Senior Women's Amateur Championship!
CHAMPIONSHIP DETAILS
Eligibility: Entries are open to amateur golfers who are female and who: (a) are members in good standing of a WSGA member club; (b) are 50 years of age or older for Senior Amateur Contestants and 65 years of age or older for Super Senior Amateur Contestants by June 26, 2018; and (c) have an active GHIN number and USGA Handicap Index, issued by a WSGA member club, not exceeding 40.4 at the time of entry.
Format: 36-hole individual stroke play (gross and net). Each division will be divided into flights based on course handicap. Senior and Super Senior Championships are separate but run concurrently.
Age Limit: Senior: 50 years of age or older by June 26, 2018; Super Senior: 65 years of age or older by June 26, 2018.
Handicap Limit: All entrants must have an active GHIN number and USGA Handicap Index, issued by a WSGA member club, not exceeding 40.4 at the time of entry.
Field Limit: Senior Women's Amateur Championship: 24; Super Senior Women's Amateur Championship: 24 (Field fill method: Exempt players followed by order of entry receipt).
NOTE: The WSGA reserves the right to modify either championship in conjunction with the WSGA Women's Amateur and Women's Mid-Amateur Championship to achieve a total field size of 120.
Entry Fee: $165.00
Cart Fee: $15.00 per player, per day to be paid at the time of registration.
Entry Deadline: June 11, 2018 at 4:30 p.m. (PDT)
Entry Includes: Two rounds of championship play, one hosted practice round, warm up range balls, tee prize, lunch following final round play, and Kusak crystal and medals for top finishers (gross and net).
WSGA Performance Points:
- Senior Women's Amateur: Awarded to Champion (35 pts.), Runner-up (20 pts.), and Top-5 (5 pts.) finishers.
Exemptions:
- Champions each earn an exemption into the 10th Annual WSGA Champion of Champions being played at The Home Course in DuPont, WA in April of 2019.
- Senior Champion earns an exemption into the 20th WSGA Senior Women's Amateur Championship to be played in June of 2019. Super Senior Champion earns an exemption in to the 6th WSGA Super Senior Amateur Championship to be played in June of 2019.
- Senior Champion earns an exemption into the 34rd PNGA Senior Women's Amateur Championship to be played in October of 2019. Super Senior Champion earns an exemption in to the 9th PNGA Super Senior Amateur Championship to be played in October of 2019.
